I'm David C. Vass of the Texas Vasses. Yyour dad wrote about in the lineage of "David Vass". You have a really nice web site set up. I'm interested in getting a vass family e-mail account is there any space left? I'll try to log onto the Sunday chat this week, as my father, David T. is with us visiting from Venice Florida for the Thanksgiving holiday. Looking forward to learning more of our ancestry and making contact with other Vass' from around the world. Do you know if, or how, a man by the name of George Vass who writes or wrote for Baseball Digest is related to us? I'm somewhat of a baseball historian and was delighted to find a book he wrote containing interviews with players of the 50's. I'd like to be able to communicate with George regarding other player biographies. Also, have you discovered any Vass relations that may have played major league baseball, or old time base-ball in your research of our genealogy? About us: I married Karyn Coddington of Alpena, Michigan in 1988. Our first child, David Arthur, was born in Texas in 1990, or second, Penelope Collen, was born in 1993. We lived in Austin, Texas for 2 years now and prior to that Dallas for 14 years.
